Fête La Femme is owned by Kendall Harmon Morehart, entrepreneur of Shreveport, Louisiana. Kendall passionately pursues her personal interests of historical costume, art, fashion, beauty and makeup. In 2008 she put these pursuits together with her first head piece, a fascinator specifically made for a rehearsal dinner while still in college. In 2012 Kendall launched Fête La Femme, which is known for its one of a kind inventory of fascinators, hair clips, bridal head pieces, garters, and other bridal accessories.
After successfully earning a bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising, Kendall went on and earned a master’s of science degree in historical costume from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also pursued her love of hair and makeup by attending The Aveda Institute in New York City, New York and received make-up training by the Lia Schorr Institute.
Based out of Shreveport, Louisiana, Fête La Femme gives every bride the individual attention she deserves. For Kendall, the most rewarding aspect of her job is working with brides. Kendall approaches every wedding with the individual care, enthusiasm and special attention a bride and her attendants deserve. Taking part in the most important day of someone’s life is a privilege. Kendall’s goal is to provide every bride with custom and personalized service that begins with a comprehensive makeup consultation and ends with providing the perfect makeup to help make every moment of the wedding day picture perfect. “When working with brides—doing hair and makeup is to make the person feel the best that they have ever felt. I do my best to listen to all of their needs so that they can have an outcome that exceeds their expectations.” Making every bride feel and look her best is Kendall’s passion.
